Her Story
How It Started
I’m a mom who wanted to enroll my daughter in ballet but struggled to afford the cost. It made me wonder how many other parents were making the same choice—wanting their child to participate, learn and belong, but simply not having room in the family budget. I realized sometimes a child just needs someone to help open the door to an opportunity.
I’ve spent more than 10 years working in the Space Coast beverage and event industry through Sol-Tree Cocktail Co. I’ve worked alongside incredible venues, businesses, organizations and community events and have seen firsthand how people here show up and gather. I started wondering: what if we could take some of that energy, connection and spending already happening at events and turn it into opportunities for local kids?
