How It Started

Mom. Entrepreneur. Community Builder.

I’m a lifelong Brevard County resident, local entrepreneur, event professional and most importantly a mom raising a little girl full of dreams, ideas and curiosity.

When my daughter was four, I wanted to give her every opportunity to discover what made her light up. Ballet, t-ball, camps, classes, creative programs, I knew how important it was for her to try different things, build confidence and find where she belonged. But every opportunity came with a cost and finding ways to afford all those experiences on a single income was incredibly difficult.

I knew I couldn’t be the only parent facing that struggle.

I have spent more than half my life working in the food & beverage and event industries, planning celebrations, creating memorable experiences and bringing people together.

Here on the Space Coast, our community gathers every weekend for festivals, fundraisers, concerts, celebrations and local events and beverage service is often at the center of all of those experiences.

That led me to one simple question: What if the money already being spent when adults gather could help children gather, too?

“What if bar sales could help pay for a child’s ballet lessons, sports registration, art classes, music instruction, summer camp or another experience their family might not otherwise be able to afford?”

That question became Gather for Good Foundation Inc.

Gather for Good brings together my professional expertise and the passion that has always mattered most to me: creating joy and opportunity for children.

By partnering with G4G we can transform the way our community gathers into meaningful support for local kids, helping more children grow, create, participate and discover what they love.

This began with my daughter, but it was built for every local family that wants to give their child more opportunities. Mom to mom, parent to parent and family to family, I’m building a community where we use what we already do—gather—to create something greater for our children.
